These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except where the law of your own country applies and cannot be excluded by agreement.
21. Governing law
20. Ending access
Our programs are for people aged 18 and over. Where you are under 18, you are welcome to read the information published on our websites, and we ask that an adult contact us on their own behalf rather than joining a program for them.
19. Changes
We may update or modify content, add or remove features, and change how our services are offered.

We may update these Terms. The version and date at the top show the current version. Continuing to use our websites or the walking application means you accept the updated Terms.
18. International use
Our websites can be reached from anywhere. Our programs are available to people resident in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the European Economic Area, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. We are not able to accept participants resident elsewhere, though you are welcome to read the information we publish.

Information provided to us is held in the United States. Healthcare systems and regulations differ between countries, and information published on our websites reflects that. Our Privacy Policy explains how information about people outside the United States is handled.
17. No guarantees
We do not guarantee eligibility for any clinical trial, acceptance into any study, the availability of any trial, or any specific outcome or result.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Global PAD Association is not liable for medical decisions made by users, for the outcome of participation in any clinical trial, for reliance on information provided through our websites or the walking application, or for the actions of third parties.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
The content of our websites and the walking application, including text, graphics, design, and branding, is owned by or licensed to the Global PAD Association. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission.

You are welcome to print or download material for your own use and to share it with your doctor or your family.
15. Intellectual property
Everything provided through our websites and the walking application is for educational and informational purposes only. We aim to help you understand the options available to you. We do not provide clinical care.
Medical decisions belong to you and your healthcare provider.
3. Educational and informational use only
The walking application
Recording and tracking your walking within the program
14. Age
Our programs are for people aged 18 and over. Where you are under 18, you are welcome to read the information published on our websites, and we ask that an adult contact us on their own behalf rather than joining a program for them.
13. Privacy
Your use of our websites and the walking application is also governed by our Privacy Policy at [URL], which explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Residents of Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, and other states with consumer health data laws should also read our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy at [URL].
12. Connections and third parties
Where you ask us, we may help coordinate an introduction to a trial site, a physician, or a care team, offer general guidance on next steps, and support logistical coordination.

We share your information only with your explicit permission, for the connection you have chosen. Participation is always your choice.
We are not responsible for the actions or decisions of trial sponsors, research sites, physicians, or care teams, for the quality of care provided, or for the outcome of any treatment or trial.
We work to keep information accurate and current. Trial details change, and availability and eligibility are determined by study sponsors and sites. We cannot guarantee that everything is complete or accurate at every moment.
11. Trial listings and accuracy
The walking application records the information you enter about your walking. It is available through the App Store and Google Play, and your use of those stores is governed by their own terms.

The application does not collect location, route, or GPS data, and it does not write to Apple Health or Google Fit.
It supports the walking program. It does not monitor you, and nobody watches your entries in real time. Where something is wrong, contact your doctor rather than relying on the application.
9. The walking application
Browsing our websites is not the same as joining a program. To join the Global PAD Patient Registry, the walking, smoking cessation, or dietary programs, or to use the Leg Saver Hotline for navigation, you complete a separate agreement for that program.

Those agreements govern participation. Where an agreement and these Terms differ on a matter the agreement covers, the agreement governs.
8. Joining a program
We present information about clinical trials and research opportunities, explain the different kinds of study, provide education about peripheral artery disease, run structured programs, and where you ask us to, help connect you with trial sites, physicians, and care teams.
We do not enroll you in a trial, determine your eligibility, guarantee acceptance into any study, or guarantee any outcome. Eligibility is decided by the study team.
7. What we do and what we do not do
We do not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any clinical trial, treatment, physician, hospital, device, medication, or outcome.
•  Trials listed on padtrials.org are provided for information.
•  Inclusion does not mean a study is better, safer, or right for you.
•  Each trial has its own risks, benefits, and eligibility requirements.
•  Physicians and centers we name are identified because they publicly describe experience relevant to your situation, and naming one is not a recommendation.
Review every option with your care team before making a decision.
6. No endorsement
We help you understand your options and connect with resources. We are not your healthcare provider, and using our websites or the walking application does not create a doctor and patient relationship between you and the Global PAD Association or anyone working with us.
5. No doctor and patient relationship
By using our websites and the walking application, you agree to:
•  Give accurate and truthful information.
•  Use them for lawful purposes only.
•  Make decisions in consultation with your healthcare provider.
•  Treat our PAD Navigators, researchers, physicians, and their teams with respect.
•  Honor your commitments, and tell us where you decide to take a different path.
•  Tell us where you want your information deleted, or where you no longer wish to hear about research opportunities.

You are responsible for how you use the information provided, for what you choose to share, and for your decisions about any trial or treatment.

Version 1.0 · Effective [date] · Last updated [date]
Before you begin
We are here to help you understand your options, not to tell you what to do.

We do not provide medical advice and we do not replace your doctor. We do not endorse any clinical trial, physician, or treatment. Any decision about your care belongs to you and your healthcare team. Where you ask us to help connect you with a trial or a physician, we share your information only with your permission.

Our goal is to give you clarity, support your decisions, and help you move forward with confidence.
1. Who we are
The Global PAD Association is the registered trade name of Way To My Heart Inc., a nonprofit corporation registered in California, United States and recognized as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In these Terms, "we" and "the Global PAD Association" mean Way To My Heart Inc.
Kym McNicholas, Chief Executive Officer · info@padhelp.org · 1-833-PAD-LEGS (1-833-723-5347)
By using any of them you accept these Terms. Where you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
4. No medical advice
We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on our websites or in the walking application is a recommendation for any specific test, treatment, procedure, medication, device, physician, or clinical trial.
Where you have an urgent medical problem, contact your doctor or your local emergency number. Do not wait to contact us.
2. Which websites these Terms cover
These Terms apply to all of our websites and to the walking application.
